It's time to let out the rock 'n' roll machine headbanging inside you. Nightrain Studios & Raasta Bombay bring you five of Bombay's finest hard rock bands tearing the stage up this coming Thursday!! All is one and one is all, to be a rock while you roll!!

The line up in order of performance:

DOCTOR ROCK was formed in 2016 with Nish leading vocals, Rugy on guitar backing with his voice, Sam on Bass and Wulf on drums. They have had winning performances Aakarshan (2017), Aarohan (2017), Siesons (2017), Raag (2017), Symphony (2017), Tech-tris (2017), Octaves (2017). Doctor Rock has also opened for Demonic Resurrection, one of the top metal bands in India. Quite an impressive resume for a newly formed band.

THE BIG IF is an Alternate/Grunge band from Mumbai formed in the January of 2016. Their songs are majorly influenced by the famous grunge band Pearl Jam and other bands like Slash, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, Alter Bridge, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Foo Fighters and Nirvana. The band is now playing shows after spending hours together working on their setlist. Their set list consists of songs from their major influences and a few famous pop songs. Sumeet has been playing with various bands for the past 5 years and won various inter college competitions and has an original music video after winning an international band competition conducted by Holiday Inn Express. Rohit has been playing the guitar for the past 5 years and his influences range from Pearl Jam to Slayer. Kartik has previously played for a number of bands before joining The BIG if. The two of them also teach guitar at Adagio, a guitar academy in Chembur. Chirag has learned drums under the tutelage of Gino Banks, Jai Row Kavi, and Vinayak Pol. He enjoys listening to various genres and is a big fan of power drumming. Aaron has been playing bass for years and can adapt to various kinds of music. A great fan of bringing the funk and the groove to the band which makes you want more!

GUNS RELOADED (GNR Tribute) are hard rock misfits from Navi Mumbai who united for the love of world's most dangerous bands Guns N’ Roses and came together to pay tribute to the rockstars. Lead guitarist, Nikhil’s idea to form the tribute band finally took flight after he met rhythm guitarist Pruthvi Khade and bass player Sourabh Khade. Drummer Sujit Chavan cemented the lineup with his kick ass hard rock style drumming. After auditioning a few leads, Yousuf Tareen joined the band as a singer who does enough justice to Axl's performance instincts and Guns Reloaded was formed in December 2014 to relive the 80's hard rock dreams and

down right dirty Rock N' Roll scene. They began amping up their hard rock sound and the rock n’ roll party culture. After

a few jam sessions, the Guns were locked and loaded to hit the stage. In the early days, the band managed to play 4-5 local gigs for exposure. Within few months of formation Guns got pretty well known in the local scene and soon Guns had found their way into the mashed up metal scene of Mumbai!!

PUNKTURE is a Mumbai based Punk/Hard Rock band that are no strangers to the Raasta stage having performed to a sold out gig and can get you jumping, screaming, grooving and headbanging all the way!!

BLAME THE HERB is an alternative/hard rock band based in Navi Mumbai formed in the midst of 2012. The band consists of vocalist

Ajay Nayak, drummer Saurav Dutta, guitarist Akash Munshettiwar and bassist Siddhesh Deshpande. The band plays a style of hard rock blended into an alternative mood, drawing inspiration from classic rock acts as well as the 90’s grunge era. The band is best known for their support of cannabis culture and delivery of extraordinary weed humor. The band also favors the sense of freedom, chaos, and psychedelics through their rebellious music and energetic stage acts. They have also performed alongside many acts like Sparsh, Blek and Citizens Of The World on World Music Day 2013. They're best experienced live!!
